Saints Have A Great Homecoming Game
Great homecoming game for the Saints!
Saints Dominate Homecoming Game!
What a fantastic night it was for the Boys’ varsity basketball team! These fine young student-athletes came out pumped and ready to play in front of the biggest crowd of the year. The fans were amazing in their support of the boys! The boys did not disappoint a rowdy, but respectful packed gym. The team dominated from start to finish, coming out with a burst to take a 18-0 lead after the first quarter with Gio Hernandez using his speed and hustle to score 11 points in the quarter. With a fired up team and a loud crowd the Saints took a 35-2 lead into the halftime break. After the halftime festivities the team played hard and with great sportsmanship to win the game by the score of 47-13. The entire team contributed with great teamwork and tenacious defense. Sophomore Gio Hernandez led the scoring with 21 points, while his fellow sophomore Logan Baltau added 9 points and 12 rebounds, and senior Jeongmoon Lee led the team with 7 assists. The other team members are; seniors Tim Lee and Erik Bogeberg, sophomores Matthew Lee and Don Chen, freshman Kade Thurman, Austin Ochoa and Jefferson Blumenthal. The saints are 6-4 overall and 5-2 in Omega League.
A big thanks to all of you who came to the game in support of the basketball team and our outstanding cheerleaders!!
