Elementary Girls' Win

If you missed seeing the elementary girls’ basketball game last Wednesday against Ascension Lutheran, you missed an exciting game! All the players played excellent defense and held Ascension to 20 points. We ended the first half 22-12. The second half the girls continued to play tough defense and took many smart shots extending the final score to 36-20. Our high scorers were Carlie and Alexia with 14 points each. This brings our season to 2 wins and 1 loss. The next game will be played against Pleasant Valley at their home court. We will then meet Ascension Lutheran again on Friday, February 5th. Come out and cheer the girls to victory! They are awesome.
