Posted Monday, January 24, 2005 HCS Alumni Patrick Horan ('02) Excels at Notre Dame Taking advantage of every opportunity afforded by university life, Pat is poised for future success. Patrick Horan (’02) is a junior at the University of Notre Dame where he is majoring in Environmental Geochemistry in the College of Engineering. He was recently named, for the second time, to the dean’s list. The dean’s list is comprised of the top thirty percent of students who have achieved a scholastic average of 3.6 and above. He is also a teaching assistant and has served as dorm president. He is active in his local church where he volunteers in youth ministry. Pat has also played three years of intramural soccer at Notre Dame.
 Pat spent last summer as a research assistant where he conducted scientific research on radioactive materials. He also has participated in a recent trip to the Yucca Mountain nuclear disposal facility. This summer he will travel to New Mexico and Texas and plans to intern in the Dallas area. |
