Alumni Update: Eric Liebowitz (07) Receives Academic Honor
 

California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo has announced that Eric Liebowitz, class of ’07, has been honored for academic achievement in the College of Engineering by being added to the Dean’s Honor List. Eric who is majoring in Computer Technology and Engineering, was granted the designation, which is reserved for students who achieve a GPSA of 3.25 or higher within their major.

Eric gives ample credit to the education he received at Hillcrest. “I was intimidated at first by some of my classmates in the Engineering Department. Some of these guys are pretty smart! But later, I realized that at Hillcrest I had been taught how to think … not just what to think. College is uncharted territory, but I’m finding that I definitely have the tools I need, and I have Hillcrest to thank for that.
