FIFTH GRADE HAS ITS UPS & DOWNS
Taking TEAMBUILDING to new heights in fifth grade.

Students in fifth grade were shouting at each other, "You can do it!" "Go…go…go, higher…higher…higher!" "Great job," as classmates were climbing the walls during a recent field trip to Boulderdash. Each one experienced team unity and class spirit as he faced challenging walls as high as 50 feet.

All students, including some fearing heights, made an effort to succeed and rappel walls of various heights. One of the lessons learned, whether a skilled climber or a novice, was the importance of encouragement in overcoming fear. It serves as a reminder of what can be accomplished when we work together to meet the needs of others.

Mrs. Harrington recently shared in chapel about the paralyzed man in Luke, chapter five, who was lowered from the rooftop to be healed by Jesus. You’re not alone even when your back is against the wall (or on a rooftop.)
