FIFTH GRADERS ARE CLIMBING THE WALLS
Mrs. Harrington's class will focus on Team Building at Boulderdash Indoor Climbing.

On Tuesday, September 28, students in Mrs. Harrington’s fifth grade will go to Boulderdash Indoor Climbing. This field trip is just a fifteen-minute drive from Hillcrest where they’ll be challenged by Southern California’s tallest indoor walls (over 10,000 sq. ft of climbing).

Since our “Expected School-Wide Learning Results” (ESLR”s) will focus on TEAM BUILDING this year, students will experience this concept first-hand. Opportunities for climbing and encouraging others as they rappel to the top will build team spirit and unity of purpose.

Mrs. Harrington shared in chapel the story recorded in Luke 5 about a paralyzed man who was lowered from the rooftop to be healed by Jesus. It serves as a reminded of what can be accomplished when we work together to meet the needs of others. You’re not alone even when your back is against the wall (or on a rooftop).
