Hillcrest Students Step Up To Community Involvement
Students reach out to demonstrate God's love.

At a recent assembly held at Hillcrest Christian School, Linda Miller, founder of Support for the Kids, was presented with a check for $1000 by Mrs. JoAnn Tattersal, as Mr. Steve Allen, Head of School, looks on. The funds were given by the Hillcrest student body as part of this school year's theme of "Authentic Christianity", which stresses the practical outworking of Christian principles in the community. Support for the Kids serves the physical, social and academic needs of thousands of under-privileged children in Ventura County each year and has plans for focused outreach during the upcoming holiday season. The all-volunteer agency welcomes involvement and support.
