Making Media Choices for Christian Families: Thursday, April 7th
Our very special guest speaker will be Dr. Ted Baehr, the founder and publisher of MovieGuide and Chairman of the Christian Film and Television Commission

Hillcrest Christian School’s Parent Education Committee, under the leadership of Mr. Steve Allen, announces the first in a series of seminars designed to support the profession of Christian parenting. "Making Media Choices For Christian Families" will be presented on Thursday, April 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillcrest Auditorium: Our very special guest speaker will be Dr. Ted Baehr, the founder and publisher of MovieGuide and Chairman of the Christian Film and Television Commission, as well as a noted critic, educator, lecturer and media pundit.

Known as "God’s reviewer in Hollywood", Dr. Baehr states that his life purpose is to be used of God to redeem the values of the mass media while educating audiences on how to use discernment in selecting their entertainment. MovieGuide and Dr. Baehr, have won many awards, including the Southern California Motion Picture Council Halo Award of High Esteem; the Film Advisory Board of Excellence; the Religious Heritage of America Faith and Freedom Award and the Excellence in Media Angel Award. The Hollywood Anti-Pornography Coalition and Knights of Columbus have honored Dr. Baehr in recognition of his "continued high standards and commitment to attaining wholesome family values".
