Men's volleyball dominates recent opponents while the track team runs away with meet honors.

Hillcrest Volleyball Dominates Opponents

West Los Angeles Baptist and Hillcrest Christian – Granada Hills each found themselves on the losing end of another Saints dominating performance. On Tuesday, HCS traveled to West Los Angeles Baptist and overpowered the Dolphins for the second time this season. Hillcrest Christian – Granada Hills visited the Saints on Friday night. The match didn’t last very long as the Saints quickly overpowered their opponents at the service line, at the net, and with the best defense they’ve played all season. Currently, HCS is 6-3 overall and 2-2 in Westside League play.

Track Team Results

On Saturday, April 1 the HCS track team participated in the Trabuco Hills High School Invitational. Hannah Rhodes earned medalist honors in the 400 meters. The invitational consisted of some of the largest track programs in Southern California. Harbor league competition began on April 6. Dominic Barksdale, Hannah Rhodes, Jenny Philen, and Bella Guerra represented HCS and finished strong at the meet hosted by West Los Angeles College. Dominic Barksdale placed first in the 400 meters. Dominic’s scores alone brought Hillcrest a fifth place finish out of seven teams. The HCS girls posted a fourth place finish out of seven teams.
