From Sunday, October 23 rd – Tuesday, October 25 the members of the high school ASB attended the annual ACSI Leadership Conference at Forest Home Conference Center. Dr. Ellen Black was the conference keynote speaker. Keynote sessions revolved around the attitude of a leader. Along with these helpful sessions, HCS students were able to meet students at other schools who held the same elective offices. Our students came away with some wonderful new ideas and a renewed sense of pride about the quality of the high school experience at Hillcrest compared to other Christian schools. On Sunday and Monday nights the student-leaders at HCS pledged to lead the school by being servants first and foremost. Please pray that leadership skills are developed in this special group of students.
