On March 1st, Brian Jones, the brother of Mrs. MacPherson, brought his racecar back to Hillcrest. The students got to sit inside, take pictures and get his autograph. So many of the students remember that last year when Brian was here, they did not get into the car. As one Kindergarten stated “I was afraid last year but now that I’m in Kindergarten, I’m more grown up” So with that said Brian lifted up all most every student from Pre-School, Pre- K and Kindergarten into and out of the car. Then as Brian was signing autographs for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd grades Mrs. MacPherson got to do the lifting of students in and out of the car. With many of the young students asking if the car was real and the older students just wanting to hear the engine, Brian started the car up to prove that it was indeed a real car and the engine was LOUD. Brian Jones would like to thank the students and staff for making him feel so welcome and he looks forward to coming back again next year.
