Welcome to infants!
Hello, my name is Mrs. Moon and I am the infant teacher here at Hillcrest Christian School. I graduated from Brandman University with a BA in Psychology and attended UCLA extension for my Early Childhood Education units. I have 3 children who attend Hillcrest Christian School and absolutely love it! I have such a passion for teaching infants. In our classroom we focus a lot on sign language and sensory development! I am thrilled to be able to partner with you and teach your littles! It is my top priority to make sure your babies feel loved, are taken care of, do lots of crafts, engage with other babies, learn basic sign language, explore the inside classroom environment as well as outside play, read lots of stories, and explore all types of sensory development. I am so excited to be your teacher!! Infant ProgramTeacher(s): Kristina Moon & Jamie Chiang
We are thrilled to offer an infant center as of Fall, 2020. Our infant program will provide every child with a loving and nurturing environment, social interaction, and foundational communication skills through infant sign language. Our teachers are trained in infant and toddler development and will encourage and assist the development of the whole child. The facility and the curriculum of the infant program are designed to address all developmental areas for infants: sensory, gross and fine motor skills, self-help skills, language, and social/emotional growth. Hillcrest Christian believes that the infant years are pivotal and we provide each child with a 1:4 teacher ratio for maximum attention. |
