Join us on campus the morning of Wednesday, September 10, as we gather for a special chapel in honor of 9/11 and the brave men and women who serve our country and our community. This is a meaningful moment in our school year where we pause to praise God, reflect on His protection, and thank those who courageously defend our freedom and care for us daily. We’re especially excited to welcome local first responders - firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and others - who serve right here in our community. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to show appreciation, learn about service, and be reminded that we are part of something bigger than ourselves. Families are warmly invited to attend as we lift up prayers, offer thanks, and honor those who serve with courage, compassion, and faith. After chapel, our students and families will meet with local first responders to explore and interact with vehicles, trucks, and equipment that is used on the job. Led by our Worship Director and Hillcrest’s student worship band (composed of our talented secondary students), this night beautifully reflects our mission to raise up the next generation to impact the world for Christ. You’ll hear songs that are part of our weekly chapel worship from Early Education through High School, alongside beloved worship favorites from local churches.
