Join us on campus the morning of Wednesday, September 10, as we gather for a special chapel in honor of 9/11 and the brave men and women who serve our country and our community. This is a meaningful moment in our school year where we pause to praise God, reflect on His protection, and thank those who courageously defend our freedom and care for us daily.

We’re especially excited to welcome local first responders - firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and others - who serve right here in our community. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to show appreciation, learn about service, and be reminded that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.

Families are warmly invited to attend as we lift up prayers, offer thanks, and honor those who serve with courage, compassion, and faith. After chapel, our students and families will meet with local first responders to explore and interact with vehicles, trucks, and equipment that is used on the job.

Take a journey around the world—without ever leaving campus! Elementary International Day is one of Hillcrest’s most vibrant and enriching traditions, designed to immerse students in the beauty of diverse cultures, traditions, and cuisines. Throughout the day, students experience hands-on learning about countries across the globe while also discovering the powerful stories of missionaries who have dedicated their lives to spreading the Gospel in every nation.

International Day serves as a joyful reminder that while our cultures may be different, God’s love is universal and every person is uniquely created in His image.
This cherished event would not be possible without the incredible support of our parent volunteers. Their time, creativity, and hard work bring this day to life, and we are deeply grateful for their partnership in fostering a rich, Christ-centered learning environment for our students. This is a great event for you and your child(ren) to experience.
