1st–4th Grade Flag Football

Hillcrest 1st–4th Grade Flag Football is part of the Hillcrest Christian Intramural Sports program and is designed to help young Saints learn, play, and grow together while building a foundation for future athletics. The program is led by Joshua Camper, with additional coaching support from Wes Ruby and other staff or parent volunteers. Parents who coach teams for 1st–4th grade sports can earn service hours, making this a meaningful way to support students both on and off the field.

The program runs for eight weeks and is structured to develop skills progressively. The first two weeks focus on skills, drills, and player evaluations. The next two weeks are dedicated to team practices, and the final four weeks feature games. The program typically includes a 1st and 2nd Grade League and a 3rd and 4th Grade League, depending on participation.

This program is a wonderful opportunity for Hillcrest students to play sports together, grow in teamwork and character, and prepare for upper-level athletics, while also giving them the chance to explore a lifelong love of the game.
