School Retreats at Hillcrest
Middle School Retreat
The Middle School Retreat is held every fall, setting the foundation for the year. Chapel, featuring guest speakers, small group interactions, and worship is conducted every other week. On the alternate weeks, students participate in small group discussion and prayer moderated by the faculty.
High School Retreat
The spiritual foundation for the year is established early in September when students and teachers have the opportunity to spend three nights and four days at Thousand Pines Christian Conference Center located in the beautiful San Bernardino mountains. Times of worship, focused teaching, team-building activities, and small group discussion establish the spiritual tone and focus for the year, unify students and staff, and challenge students to grow in their faith commitment.
The senior retreat, which can be a camping trip at the beach, a weekend at the lake, or in the mountains, is a time to solidify old friendships and perhaps take the opportunity to get to know someone outside one’s circle of friends.

What Our Families Are Saying About Us
Testimonials from our current parents, alumni parents, and community friends.
Hillcrest is ministry focused on providing a quality education alternative for Christian families.Mario Schweizer
The individual attention is fantastic. The camaraderie and relationships of the entire family with the staff, students, and parents is positive and inviting. The level of academics has been great at levels we are at to this point. The experience my daughter has had in kindergarten is beyond anything we could have hoped for.Tamryn Bua
We love the Christian family feel of Hillcrest. The administration and families truly care for my children.Angela Johnson-Napue
All three of our children graduated from Hillcrest. The school was integral in being a part of "our village" in raising our kids. The administrative leadership is second to none and the teaching staff is head's above any other I have ever encountered. The love and the joy of the Lord are present in all aspects of Hillcrest.Melissa Dundas
