The Hillcrest High School Boys Basketball team is coming off four consecutive years of undefeated Omega League play and is looking to make it five straight this season. Led by returners Gabe Catalano (Senior), Dylan Stueber (Junior), Caleb Kerner (Junior), and Ashton Shepherd (Junior), along with newcomers Henry Lani (Senior) and Dustin Tapp (Senior), the Saints are poised for another exciting and competitive year on the court.
The team competes in the Omega League and last year played in Division 3A. Head Coach Michael Westphal enters his sixth year at Hillcrest and his eleventh year overall, holding a 73–50 record at HCS and an impressive 37–2 record in Omega League play. He is supported by a dedicated coaching staff that includes Assistant Coaches Joseph Gaynor (fourth year), Chris Kerner (third year), and Renaldo Major (second year). This season, the Saints will face strong competition, including notable matchups against Shalhevet, Marshall, and Hart. With a blend of returning experience, new talent, and seasoned coaching, Hillcrest boys basketball is ready to continue its winning tradition and represent the Saints with excellence. |
