High School Girls Basketball

The Hillcrest High School Girls Basketball team is coming off an impressive second-place finish in the Omega League and is ready to build on last year’s success. Led by returning All-League players Hayden Cory (Senior) and Sofia Marcarelli (Senior), the Saints bring both leadership and experience to the court. Competing in Division 5AA, the team is focused on continued growth and aims to make a strong run toward a league title this season.

Head Coach John David Gregory enters his second year at Hillcrest, bringing enthusiasm and a clear vision for developing a competitive and Christ-centered program. The girls compete in the Omega League, facing strong opponents such as Laguna Blanca, Villanova Prep, and Newbury Park Adventist. The season tips off December 2 at 4:00 p.m. with a home game hosted at Newbury Park First Christian Church.

The program’s goal is to cultivate a love for the game while building character, teamwork, and perseverance both on and off the court. With returning talent and a hunger to grow, the Saints are poised for another exciting season of competition.
