HCS is a non-profit, private co-educational, college preparatory school that spans services from two-year olds through high school. HCS is accredited by both the Association of Christian Schools International and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. In operation since 1977, there are approximately 300 students making our student-to-teacher ratio one that is able to offer more focused attention for students as well as many opportunities for students to experience success, spiritual growth, and a caring environment. HCS intentionally strives to serve Christian families who are committed to a church body. Thousand Oaks is a suburb approximately 45 miles northwest of Los Angeles, California.

Computer Teacher (K-12): Hillcrest Christian School is accepting applications for a computer teacher in K – 12, who can also provide tech support to teachers and staff. In elementary, classes are once a week for 45 minutes per grade. The middle school and high school classes meet daily. Successful candidates should have teaching experience and a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. In addition, the candidate should have experience in a variety of teaching methods, proficiency in student-centered instruction, and a collaborative, innovative mindset. Preschool Director: Hillcrest Christian Preschool is looking for a Preschool Director who can successfully manage a school of approximately 50 children, ages 2 through 5, as well as a staff of twelve. This person will be responsible for handling all aspects of a typical preschool, including staff, curriculum, school operations, enrollment, parent communication, etc. Applicant must be knowledgeable in child development and have experience creating a preschool program which incorporates the various areas of development. Further, this individual must be experienced in leading a team and supporting their growth and development within the organization. The goal is to find a candidate that is willing to grow the school.
