HCS Board Announcement

It is with gladness for her and sadness for the school that we announce that Melissa Dundas is stepping down from the school board to devote more time to the family business. Melissa has served tirelessly on the school board for the past ten years and as president for six of those years. Her dedication, hard work, and countless hours serving on the board have been a blessing. Although we will miss her, Melissa will continue serving as an active parent volunteer.

Welcome New Board Member, Tony Hershman

Tony Hershman joined the board in May of 2013. Tony is married to Linda and has two sons, Chase and Josh. The boys have attended Hillcrest since Josh was in pre-school and Chase was in 2nd grade. Tony and his family attend Calvary Chapel Godspeak in Newbury Park. At their prior church Tony served in Men’s Leadership and on church council, as well as the on the board of the Simi Crisis Pregnancy Center, for several years. Tony works as Vice President of Strategic Acquisitions Inc, one of Southern California’s largest distressed asset management companies. In his free time, Tony enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling.
