Favorite verse: …that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:16-19
Education Background: I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona with a BA in Education. I went on to complete my Master's Degree at California Lutheran University and was awarded an MA in Curriculum and Instruction. Educational Experience: I was hired at HCS in 1996 as a first grade teacher. I taught first grade for four years and then went on to teach fifth grade for one year. Over the next ten years, I stayed home with my children and helped many families homeschool their children as well as provide tutoring. I came back to the classroom in 2010 as the sixth grade teacher. I also taught HS Geometry, Bible, Algebra 2, and MS Math. All About Me: I know that God called me to teach the next generation from a very young age. It is a great joy and privilege to partner with Christian parents and train the next generation to think Biblically in every circumstance especially as our culture grows more hostile towards Christ followers. My husband and I have been married since 1996 and we have three adult daughters who all graduated from HCS. I enjoy studying God’s Word, scrapbooking, and paddle boarding. |
