ASB Membership:
ASB stands for Associated Student Body, and it represents the interests and goals of the entire Hillcrest High School Student Body. Students who choose to run for an ASB office do so because they recognize that there is more to being successful in school than simply being a student. ASB members strive to create a positive atmosphere during the school day where students can feel safe and accepted. To that end, members of ASB focus on providing engaging activities that ensure a well-rounded high school experience.
Students in ASB plan, organize, and participate in such activities as Homecoming, Prom, Spirit Week, Class Competitions, Special Sports Related Events, Assemblies, and Community Outreach Projects throughout the year.
Students must maintain high academic and citizenship grades to remain in the organization, and are additionally required to work approximately 10 hours each week outside of the class. Students are elected or appointed to the class each spring for the following school year. If you are interested in being a leader here at Hillcrest Christian School, please contact Mrs. Thatcher, Hillcrest ASB Advisor, by email [email protected]
