Education Background: I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. My degree is in Social Science with a minor in Sociology. My teaching credentials are in Preschool to 3rd grade, Kindergarten to 6th grade, and Middle School Social Studies. Educational Experience: I began my teaching career in 1992 on the island of Guam. SInce then, I’ve taught in Florida, Hawaii, Virginia, and California.Prior to 1992, I have a few years teaching physical education, as well as coaching volleyball, softball, and track. My teaching experience has been in middle school social studies and English, first and third grade, and kindergarten. I’ve been teaching kindergarten at Hillcrest Christian School since 2020. All About Me: I was born and raised in California, but I also experienced living in Brazil and Costa Rica. I speak fluent Portuguese and Spanish. I’ve been blessed to have travelled all over the world with my husband and kids, but my biggest blessings have come from teaching. I know without a doubt that God called me to be a teacher and to plant a seed in their little hearts to Raise Up the Next Generation to Impact the World for Jesus Christ! |
