Hillcrest Christian Elementary Flag Football

Hillcrest Elementary 5th–6th grade flag football competes in the TVCAL (Tri-Valley Christian Athletic League) in a 7-on-7 format, and our team currently has 11 players ready to defend their title as defending TVCAL Champions. Coached by Gustavo Miramontes, our young Saints are learning the fundamentals of the game while growing in teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The season began on September 2 and runs through November 19, with the possibility of extending into the Championship Game. Teams in the league include Ascension Lutheran, Beacon Hill, Bethany Christian, Conejo Adventist, City Christian, Cornerstone Christian, Grace School, Linda Vista Adventist, Oaks Christian, Pleasant Valley Christian, St. Patrick's, Ventura Missionary School, and Villanova Prep. The vision for our Elementary and Middle School teams is simple but powerful: to honor Jesus both on and off the field, while teaching our student-athletes to compete with desire, passion, and humility. We also aim to prepare them for the next level as they transition into high school athletics. |
