Christian Education

When I think about Christian Education, there are four Bible verses that instantly come to mind:

Psalm 139:13-14
For you created my inmost being;
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Proverbs 22:6
Train a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he shall not turn from it.

Psalm 78:4
We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord,
His power and the wonders he has done

3 John 1:4
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children
Are walking in the truth

Our children are such a wonderful and precious gift from the Lord! He knows and loves them and has a plan for each of them. We have them in our homes for such a short time. Our job is to point them to Him and to teach them about their loving God, our Father. We get to tell His stories from His word, the Bible, and point out His wondrous creation. Then, when our children leave our homes, we can find great joy in knowing that our children walk in truth, love, and peace from the Lord.

HCS partners with you and your church in this process. Our excellent, dedicated, highly qualified Christian teachers have your children for seven hours each day and get to teach them the truth! As children grow older, their friends have a bigger and more significant impact on their lives and views. What a blessing to have them here with friends from Christian families with values similar to yours.

Students who graduate from HCS are academically and spiritually prepared to go on to college and university, trade school, or out into the world and successfully follow God’s plan. Church, home, school, and Christian friends have a powerful synergistic effect. Thank you for partnering with us in this critical mission.
